It ‘s official: Bagno di Romagna will be in the hundredth edition of the “ Giro d’Italia”
Bagno di Romagna will be the star of the hundredth edition of the “Giro d’Italia”.
On Tuesday afternoon in Milan the route that the tour will face in 2017 was presented.
At the event presentation was the Mayor Marco Baccini, great cycling fan, the vice Mayor Alessia Rossi and the city councilor, Enrico Spighi.
The Thermal town will host the beginnig of the eleventh stage of the race scheduled for May 17, which will start from Ponte a Ema (Florence), birthplace of Gino Bartali. It will be a stage that could change the general classification: the group will cross the Tosco-Romagnolo Appeninis inside the Casentino National Park. The following day the cyclists will start the tour again from Forlì.
For Bagno di Romagna the “Giro d’Italia” will be without any doubt a promotional showcase.
